About PHYS 1851 General Physics I Course

1) All students taking the course must meet the course and laboratory attendance requirements specified in the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Associate and Undergraduate Education-Teaching Regulation.

2) If the previous term laboratory evaluation grade of students repeating a course is below 40 points, then at least 80% attendance will be required for the laboratory and they will be required to participate in all experiments.

3) If the previous term laboratory evaluation grade of students repeating a course is 40 or above, then attendance will not be required and the previous term laboratory evaluation grade will be used as the laboratory evaluation grade for this term.

4) Students who repeat a course and want to increase their laboratory grades will apply to the relevant faculty member who teaches the course in writing to continue the laboratory, and in this document, they will state that they will meet the laboratory attendance requirement and participate in the experiments. The report evaluations of these students will be evaluated based on the work they have done in this term.

5) The mid-term and end-of-term evaluations of students taking the course will be made by taking into account the results of a midterm, laboratory and a final exam. In this evaluation, the rates will be Midterm: 30%, Laboratory: 20%, and Final: 50%.
