Double Major and Minor Programs

Double Major
Students who are at the beginning of the 3rd and 5th semesters of their undergraduate programs at the earliest and have a GPA of 3.00 can apply to continue their undergraduate education in another relevant department within the quota determined by the University, if they wish.
A student who is eligible to graduate from his/her department and completes the double major program with a GPA of at least 2.00 is awarded a double major undergraduate diploma. This program consists of a minimum of 48 credits/hour.
The degree of success in the double major program does not affect the student's success in his own program and graduation rate.

Minor Branch
Students with a GPA of at least 3.00 can, if they wish, take courses in the undergraduate program of another relevant department within the quota determined by the University, starting from the 3rd semester of their own undergraduate program at the earliest.
The minor program consists of at least 18 credits/hour. A minor certificate is given to the student who is eligible to graduate from his/her department and completes the minor program with a GPA of at least 2.00.
