Information technologies are developing very rapidly. Very important studies are carried out in the world, especially in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security and data science. The common purpose of these studies is to serve humanity. In this direction, the results obtained from the studies need to be delivered to end users with various software applications, integrated into existing systems, improving business processes in every field from industry to defense, from health to economy, making human life easier, and finding solutions to various problems. The position of software engineers in this case is undoubtedly very important. Therefore, students of the software engineering department should receive special training for the software engineering discipline and acquire the necessary knowledge to follow these developments in the world and integrate these technologies into the field they work in.
As MSKÜ Software Engineering Department, we offer our students a curriculum enriched with various technical elective courses from different research areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Network and Security, Data Science, Information Systems Management, in addition to basic software engineering courses. In addition, we are working to further enrich our technical elective course pool in line with technological developments and requirements, and we plan to take the necessary steps by taking into account the demands of our students.
