Coordination Commission

  • The coordination team, led by the Head of Department, communicates with all commissions and takes steps to resolve emerging issues.

Exemption and Adaptation Commission

  • Determines departmental principles for course counting and exemption matters.
  • Determines the courses, quotas, and requirements for Double Major and Minor programs.
  • Carries out course counting, exemption, and adaptation procedures for Double Major and Minor students.
  • Performs course counting, exemption, and adaptation procedures related to Amnesty, Lateral and Vertical Transfers.
  • Evaluates the suitability of summer school course contents.
  • Carries out procedures related to the course adaptation of special students.

Student Exchange Programs Commission

  • Determines the working principles for Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana programs.
  • Organizes the Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana student and faculty exchange programs.
  • Establishes bilateral collaborations with suitable universities within the scope of Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana programs.
  • Checks the compatibility of courses taken within the framework of Erasmus and Farabi programs and performs grade conversions for returning students.
  • Attempts to resolve problems encountered by students participating in Erasmus and Farabi programs and utilizes the website effectively for this purpose.
  • Manages the student exchange programs relevant to our department from the university's international relations office.

Promotion Commission

  • Makes the changes requested by the commissions on the WEB page.
  • Publishes the accreditation and quality policy on the department's web page.
  • Creates and monitors the department's social media page (Facebook, Twitter).
  • Establishes regular communication and ensures collaboration with the department's stakeholders.
  • Plans and organizes events by bringing department students together.
  • Increases communication with alumni and organizes meetings.
  • Gathers opinions and suggestions from our alumni regarding our curriculum through meetings and surveys.

Infrastructure and Laboratory Commission

  • Identifies departmental infrastructure deficiencies and reports them to the Head of Department.
  • Receives requests regarding infrastructure deficiencies of laboratories or classrooms and makes the necessary arrangements.
  • Identifies and meets the needs of student laboratories.
  • Forwards incoming fault notifications to the Head of Department and ensures the faults are rectified.
  • Tracks equipment and technical requirements in the department and organizes necessary renewal or repair processes.
  • Takes and inspects necessary measures to ensure laboratory safety and order.
  • Follows up on environmental arrangements and cleanliness issues in the department and makes the necessary adjustments.

Curriculum Monitoring and Development Commission

  • Monitors the curricula applied in other universities domestically and abroad.
  • Provides information to the Head of Department regarding the monitored curricula and ensures the necessary arrangements are made.
  • Adjusts the course curriculum in line with conducted surveys and suggestions.
  • Collaborates with the Head of Department to solve course-related problems reported as a result of counseling services.
  • Reviews and revises course files.
  • Determines the criteria for assigning exam invigilators.
  • Prepares mid-term and final exam schedules and invigilator lists.
  • Determines and reports faculty member workloads (specifies summaries of theory, practice, laboratory, and total load).
  • Makes a random distribution of students in exams suitable for the classroom capacity.

Quality and Accreditation Commission

  • Fulfills quality management system requirements and requests, initiates, and follows up on corrective actions.
  • Organizes and monitors work in line with the decisions taken by the Faculty Accreditation Board.
  • Organizes a meeting about accreditation efforts at least once a month in the Head of Department's office.
  • Organizes and monitors the preparation of the self-assessment report.
  • Stores and monitors the currency of accreditation-related documents.

Scientific Research and Graduation Projects Commission

  • Collects project information from faculty members at the beginning of each academic year and classifies the collected information.
  • Announces the projects reported by faculty members to the students.
  • Ensures the active participation of students by establishing communication between project supervisors and students.
  • Evaluates and provides guidance for requests made by faculty members or students.

Internship Commission

  • Carries out preliminary preparations related to internship studies and informs students.
  • Performs the necessary monitoring to ensure that internships are conducted in accordance with their objectives.
  • Evaluates the internships by examining the internship logbooks and related documents.
  • Organizes ERASMUS internship mobility in conjunction with the Department ERASMUS coordinator, according to the ERASMUS internship mobility principles.
  • Performs preliminary evaluation of students for scholarship-funded international internships outside of ERASMUS.

Maximum Study Period Determination and Implementation Commission

  • Ensures the identification of students whose maximum study period has expired and plans their exams.
